Pakistan’s responsible stance lauded by Saudi ambassador

Published on: April 1, 2026 9:25 PM

Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki praised Pakistan’s responsible stance and wise diplomacy amid escalating tensions in the Middle East. He said Pakistan’s approach helps maintain regional stability and protects global peace. The statement highlights Pakistan’s role in diplomatic efforts affecting the Gulf and neighboring countries.

Al-Maliki expressed concern over attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations, calling them unjustified acts against sovereign states. He warned that these aggressive moves undermine peace and security in the region. The attacks caused civilian casualties and damaged infrastructure, including airports and residential areas.

The ambassador emphasized that the attacks violated international law and United Nations principles. He stressed that regional stability is a shared responsibility requiring respect for humanitarian norms. Global cooperation, prudence, and solidarity, he said, are key to managing ongoing crises.

He also lauded Pakistan’s diplomacy as a model of careful and responsible international engagement. Al-Maliki noted that Pakistan’s approach balances political prudence with humanitarian principles to safeguard lives and security. He urged nations to uphold these values to protect long-term peace.
