PM Shehbaz returns after three-nation tour

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has returned to Pakistan after completing a three-nation diplomatic tour. He arrived in Lahore after visiting Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkiye over three days. The visit focused on strengthening regional ties and expanding cooperation.

During the tour, Shehbaz Sharif held high-level meetings with leadership in all three countries. He also attended engagements on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. Officials said discussions covered regional stability and economic cooperation.

In Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the prime minister met senior leadership to explore opportunities for deeper economic and strategic relations. Talks also included cooperation in trade, investment, and shared regional challenges. Authorities described the meetings as productive and forward-looking.

In Turkiye, PM Shehbaz met President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the diplomacy forum. Both leaders exchanged views on global and regional developments. Pakistan’s delegation also engaged with several international counterparts during the event.

Officials said the tour helped reinforce Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach and international engagement. Senior members of the delegation, including foreign and information ministers, accompanied the prime minister. They added that the visit aimed to promote peace, stability, and stronger bilateral cooperation.
