UoR earns NTC thumbs-up, sets new benchmarks in technology education

Published on: June 7, 2026 6:19 PM

The University of Rasul (UoR) has secured a landmark achievement with a preliminary accreditation nod from the National Technology Council (NTC), cementing its reputation as a rising hub of engineering technology education in Pakistan.
The week‑long, rigorous evaluation covered UoR’s flagship programs — BSc Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering Technology. The NTC team found the curricula fully aligned with the international Outcome‑Based Education (OBE) framework, while commending the university’s upgraded laboratories, enriched library resources and highly qualified faculty. Interactive sessions with students, faculty and industry partners underscored UoR’s commitment to producing industry‑ready technologists. The delegation expressed strong satisfaction with the institution’s modernized academic environment and forward‑looking standards. This milestone is credited to the vision and strategic leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ul Haq, Tamgha‑e‑Imtiaz, and the dedicated supervision of Dean Prof. Dr. Abdul Majid, whose management has set new benchmarks for quality and innovation at the UoR.
With this accreditation, the University of Rasul elevates engineering technology education in the region, reaffirming its mission to blend academic excellence with industry relevance.
