The team behind Prime Video’s popular series “Off Campus” has issued a strong warning to fans ahead of the start of production for its season 2, urging respectful behaviour towards the cast and their personal lives.
In an official statement shared on the show’s social media platforms on June 11, the production team reminded viewers that the success of the series is built not only on storytelling but also on mutual respect within its fan community.
“The Off Campus community is built on a shared love of storytelling – and on respect for the real people who bring it to life,” the statement read. It further requested fans to extend kindness to the cast and individuals connected to them, both online and offline.
The message also included a clear warning that strict action would be taken against harmful behaviour. According to the statement, accounts engaging in targeted harassment or abusive conduct could be removed from official platforms and communities associated with the show.
The announcement comes as anticipation builds for the second season of the series, which is based on the bestselling novels by author Elle Kennedy. The show first premiered on Prime Video on May 13 and adapted the novel “The Deal,” introducing audiences to the fictional Briar University hockey team and its central romance between Garrett Graham and Hannah Wells.
Season one also built out a wider ensemble cast, including characters such as John Logan, John Tucker, Dean DiLaurentis, and Hannah’s close friend Allie, all of whom contributed to the show’s growing popularity.
Prime Video has confirmed that the upcoming season will shift its focus to Dean and Allie’s storyline, adapting the third book in the series, “The Score.” Production is expected to begin soon, with fans eagerly awaiting further updates.
Despite the excitement surrounding the new season, the production team has made it clear that respectful fan engagement will remain a priority as filming progresses.
