
Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad to discuss key political and economic issues. The meeting focused on the federal budget, regional developments, and diplomatic matters, reflecting ongoing coordination between coalition partners.
During the meeting, both leaders exchanged views on the federal budget and related policy matters. They also discussed the situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and developments in Gilgit-Baltistan. Officials said governance and political cooperation in the regions were part of the agenda.
The two sides also reviewed Pakistan’s diplomatic role in facilitating the Iran-US peace framework. Bilawal Bhutto appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in supporting regional dialogue and stability. The discussion highlighted Islamabad’s continued engagement in broader Middle East diplomacy.
In addition, Bilawal thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for cooperation extended by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in the formation of a government in Gilgit-Baltistan. The meeting also underscored collaboration between coalition partners on governance and legislative matters.
