
The Bank of Punjab Junior National Tennis Championship 2026 concluded at the Sports Board Punjab Tennis Academy in Lahore on 18 June 2026. The event featured final matches across multiple junior age categories, highlighting emerging tennis talent from across the country. The tournament was organised under the Punjab Lawn Tennis Association.
In the boys under-18 final, M. Yahya defeated Hamza Ali Rizwan with a commanding 6-3, 6-1 victory. In the girls under-18 category, Hajra Sohail secured the title after beating Bismal Zia 6-3, 6-0. These matches marked the top level of junior competition in the championship.
In the younger categories, Shayan Afridi won the boys under-14 final against M. Muaz with a 4-2, 4-0 scoreline. Hajra Sohail continued her strong performance by also winning the girls under-14 final. In doubles action, M. Muaz and M. Aayan claimed the boys under-14 doubles title.
In the under-12 category, M. Aayan defeated M. Faizan in straight sets to secure the boys title. Shahnoor Umer won a closely contested girls under-12 final against Eman Shahbaz. Meanwhile, Salaar Khan and M. Faizan dominated the boys under-12 doubles final. The under-10 final saw Mustafa Zia defeat Wali Abdullah 6-0.
Chief guests at the closing ceremony included Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Tariq Qureshi and Chief Internal Auditor BOP Syed Rehan. Tournament Director Rashid Malik oversaw the event arrangements. Organisers said the championship provided a strong platform for developing young tennis players in Pakistan.
