Military officials said the incidents included attacks near Quetta, Ziarat and Bela, where security forces responded with counterterrorism operations.
During a media briefing in Rawalpindi, Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said security forces would continue operations against those responsible for the attacks and warned that militants and their facilitators would face decisive action. He also alleged that India and elements operating from Afghanistan were linked to the recent attacks, claims that have not been independently verified.
