Actress Jaime King has responded to online speculation after reports claimed that none of Taylor Swift’s godchildren attended the singer’s recent wedding celebrations. Through her publicist, King explained that her son, Leo Thames, continues to share a close bond with Swift and said their relationship remains unchanged despite the children’s absence from the reported event.
According to the statement, King chose Taylor Swift as Leo’s godmother because they both view the role as a deeply personal and spiritual commitment rather than one measured through public appearances. She also explained that Leo is still too young to attend a large adult wedding celebration and instead celebrated the occasion in an age-appropriate way during his summer break.

The statement aimed to address growing social media discussion after fans questioned why Swift’s godchildren were not reportedly present. It also suggested that the absence of the children should not be viewed as a sign of distance between King and the global pop star. Consequently, the clarification sought to put an end to rumours surrounding their friendship.
Reports also claimed that only the daughters of Jason Kelce played a prominent role during the ceremony by serving as flower girls. Meanwhile, the guest list reportedly focused mainly on adult family members and friends, which offered another explanation for why several children were not included in the celebrations.

The latest statement comes after earlier speculation suggested that Jaime King and Taylor Swift had grown apart because they had not been seen together publicly for some time. However, King’s remarks indicate that their friendship remains intact and that the relationship between Swift and her godson continues despite recent online rumours. It is worth noting that the reported wedding details have not been officially confirmed by Taylor Swift or her representatives.
