The event took place at a library in Moscow, where attendees gathered to witness the unusual celebration featuring two robots named Robert and Matilda. The ceremony quickly gained popularity on social media, with videos and photographs from the event being widely shared online.

According to reports, the robots were presented as a bride and groom during the symbolic wedding ceremony. Organisers also included traditional wedding elements, such as exchanging special bracelets, adding a festive atmosphere to the occasion.

Videos circulating on social media show the robots participating in dance performances and interacting with guests during the event. The clips have generated curiosity among technology enthusiasts and social media users, many of whom viewed the ceremony as a creative demonstration of advances in robotics and artificial intelligence.

Robert, one of the robots featured in the ceremony, was designed to resemble an office worker and content creator, while Matilda was developed as a ballerina robot. Their contrasting designs were intended to give the event a playful and entertaining theme.

Although the ceremony had no legal status and was primarily organised as a public technology showcase, it highlighted growing public interest in robotics and the increasing role of intelligent machines in everyday life. Events involving humanoid robots have become more common around the world as developers seek innovative ways to demonstrate their capabilities.

The Moscow ceremony also sparked discussions online about the future relationship between humans and machines, as well as the expanding use of robots in education, entertainment and customer services.
