DHA Estate Agents Association announces support for PIAF in LCCI polls

Published on: July 13, 2026 3:21 PM

The DHA Estate Agents Association has announced its unconditional support for the Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF-Anjum Nisar Group) in the upcoming Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) elections.

The announcement was made by DHA Estate Agents Association President Zeeshan Butt and Vice President Umar Malik, alongside the association’s office-bearers, during a well-attended ceremony held at the DHA Club. The event was attended by a large number of property dealers, realtors and estate agents from across Lahore.

PIAF Patron-in-Chief Mian Anjum Nisar attended the ceremony as the chief guest, while PIAF Chairman and LCCI President Faheem-ur-Rehman Sehgal was the guest of honour. Senior Vice Chairman PIAF Nasrullah Mughal, Vice Chairman Tahir Manzoor Chaudhry, former LCCI presidents Muhammad Ali Mian and Malik Tahir Javed, former LCCI Senior Vice President Zafar Mahmood, executive committee members of PIAF and the Lahore Chamber, as well as representatives of the business community, were also present.

Addressing the gathering, Mian Anjum Nisar, Faheem-ur-Rehman Sehgal, Muhammad Ali Mian and other speakers said PIAF had remained at the forefront of serving the business community for more than two decades, which was why traders and entrepreneurs continued to join the platform in large numbers.

“The business community always votes for those who serve it, and PIAF has earned its identity through dedicated service,” the speakers said, adding that the organisation would continue to raise the voice of businesses at every forum and would go to every extent to safeguard their interests.

DHA Estate Agents Association President Zeeshan Butt, Vice President Umar Malik and Secretary General Mian Shahid Mahmood thanked the PIAF leadership and said the association would work closely with PIAF to highlight and resolve the issues faced by the business community. They reaffirmed their commitment to fully and unconditionally support PIAF in the forthcoming LCCI elections and pledged to strengthen the journey of service to the business community.

Representatives of the association also highlighted challenges facing the real estate sector, noting that more than 80 industries are directly linked to real estate. They said joint efforts between the Lahore Chamber and the real estate sector would not only benefit the business community but also contribute positively to the national economy.

They urged the Lahore Chamber leadership to effectively raise the concerns of the sector before the relevant authorities, saying the PIAF-LCCI platform provides a strong channel for conveying the business community’s issues to policymakers. They added that Mian Anjum Nisar’s commitment and leadership had encouraged representatives from various business sectors and communities to join PIAF. In his remarks, Umar Malik thanked the PIAF leadership and said the DHA Estate Agents Association would stand shoulder to shoulder with PIAF and the Lahore Chamber to work for the protection of the business community’s interests.
