Bahrain said it intercepted Iranian aerial attacks, while Kuwait reported damage to a power and desalination plant after Iranian strikes. The attacks mark another escalation in the expanding conflict between Iran and the United States across the Gulf. Regional governments, civilians, and critical infrastructure are increasingly affected as hostilities intensify.
Kuwaiti authorities said an Iranian strike damaged a power generation and water desalination station, triggering a fire and disrupting electricity production. Firefighters quickly contained the blaze, while technical teams began assessing the damage and restoring affected facilities. Meanwhile, Bahrain’s armed forces said their air defence systems intercepted and destroyed several hostile aerial threats targeting the kingdom.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed it targeted US military assets across the region, including facilities in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait. The IRGC also said the attacks destroyed military equipment and eliminated American personnel, although these claims were not independently verified. Separately, Iran said it struck the US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, while Qatari authorities reported intercepting a missile attack that injured a child with falling debris.
The latest attacks came after the United States continued a sixth consecutive night of strikes on Iranian military targets. CENTCOM said the operations targeted air defence systems, logistics infrastructure, and maritime capabilities following attacks on commercial shipping. Iran accused Washington of violating international law by striking civilian infrastructure and vowed further retaliation.

International attention remains focused on the Strait of Hormuz and other strategic waterways as both sides exchange military strikes. Diplomatic efforts to restore calm continue, but the conflict shows little sign of easing.
