LONDON: Former Premier Nawaz Sharif refused to field any questions from journalists as he landed in London to visit his wife, Kulsoom Nawaz.
Mr. Sharif talked to the media after his arrival, but did not answer any questions, claiming he was in London to inquire after his wife’s health, and nothing else.
Maryam Nawaz accompanied her father on the flight, and the two later visited Kulsoom Nawaz, who continues to recuperate in the hospital.
Maryam Nawaz later posted pictures of their visit to Kulsoom Nawaz on Twitter. The post read,
“Meeting Ami after 5 months. 5 long months….. She looks very weak & pale. May Allah bless her & all mothers with perfect health.”
