“Mbappe is the future of Football” says Trezeguet

Published on: September 26, 2018 7:26 PM

With the Ballon d’Or going to Modric it seems that Ronald-Messi era is coming to end but with young players like Dele, Mbappe and Silva we don’t think football will ever be short of talented campaigners.

The French legend David Trezeguet believes that there is no one like Mbappe and he might be the future of football.

The Euro 2000 star stated “Mbappe is a player who showed his qualities with his club and with the national team.

“I think he is the present but above all, he is the future. He is the future of football.

“He is the after-Cristiano Ronaldo, the after – [Lionel] Messi. He is an exceptional player.”

Not only Trezeguet but the new PSG coach Thomas Tuchel is also a big fan of the French youngster.

“I heard someone speak about Andres Iniesta in Barcelona. It was the direction of the academy who was speaking about him and he said: ‘pay attention to how he develops.

“It’s a little but the same with Mbappe. You have to be gentle with him, you have to be careful that he doesn’t get a big heard, that he develops his tactical consciousness and becomes aware of the importance of daily work in training, but also in his day-to-day professionalism in order to achieve the massive goals he’s set himself. That will be decisive, I believe. It’s a question of details.” Tuchel stated.
