ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Asad Umar on Wednesday has quashed all the rumours of his resignation from the post.
Finance Minister Asad Umar while talking to media representative said that such rumours are propaganda against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan said that such rumours are propaganda against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government. He also asked me to continue my job,” Asad Umer added.
Earlier, on Monday, PM House sources denied the rumours of Finance Minister Asad Umar’s resignation.
PM House source revealed that the reports on resignation about finance minister are not true. The Finance Minister has no intention to resign, added the source.
It is pertinent here to mention that the minister is receiving severe backlash as the dollar became uncontrollable and rupee faced devaluation.
