Muharram 2022: Govt announces public holiday on Aug 8 and 9

ISLAMABAD: The government on Wednesday announced public holiday across the country on 9th and 10th Muharram.

According to a notification issued by the government, the federal cabinet approved a two-day holiday on account of Ashura.

 All private and government offices, educational institutes, businesses, and other activities would remain shut during the two days.
