Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), visited the University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir in Muzaffarabad. Kashmiri students greeted him warmly with traditional songs and cultural performances. The event showed the strong bond between the Pakistan Army and the people of Kashmir.
During his visit, Lt. Gen. Chaudhry held a lively question-and-answer session with students and faculty members. The students praised the Pakistan Army for its strong and timely response to Indian aggression. They called Kashmir the “heart of Pakistan” and vowed to free it at all costs. The session boosted morale and strengthened patriotic feelings.
This visit came after the successful completion of “Operation Bunyān al-Marsūs,” Pakistan’s military response to Indian incursions. Across Pakistan, universities organized similar sessions to encourage students’ support for the armed forces and national unity. These events highlight the important role of youth in defending the country.
Last month, Lt. Gen. Chaudhry visited Jinnah University for Women in Karachi. He spoke about the deep religious, cultural, and traditional bonds between Pakistan and the people of Balochistan. He assured that a small number of terrorists cannot weaken these strong relationships or disrupt peace in the region.
In his speeches, the DG ISPR emphasized the key role played by students during the military operation. He said their patriotism helped Pakistan deliver a decisive blow to India’s strategic plans. His visit reaffirmed the army’s dedication to protecting Pakistan’s sovereignty and supporting its people in all regions.
