NDMA and Al-Khidmat foundation send 19th relief shipment to Gaza

Published on: August 23, 2025 2:11 PM

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Al-Khidmat Foundation have sent the 19th relief shipment to Gaza. The shipment departed from Lahore via a chartered flight on Saturday. It carries 100 tons of essential supplies including bags of flour, ready-to-eat meals, cooking oil, jam, and canned fruits.

So far, Pakistan has sent a total of 1,915 tons of aid to Gaza through 19 shipments. The dispatch ceremony took place at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal Airport at 10:30 am on August 23. The event was attended by the Speaker of Punjab Assembly and representatives from NDMA and Al-Khidmat Foundation.

This ongoing effort highlights Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the people of Gaza amid the crisis. The relief supplies aim to provide vital food and necessities to those affected. Both organizations continue to coordinate closely to ensure timely delivery of aid.

The 19th shipment reflects sustained humanitarian collaboration between government and NGOs. Officials emphasized the importance of these aid efforts to alleviate the suffering in Gaza. More shipments are expected as part of Pakistan’s ongoing support.

This joint operation demonstrates Pakistan’s solidarity with the Gaza community during a difficult time. It also showcases the active role of local organizations in international humanitarian assistance.
