Sky-high ticket prices for super four Pak-India clash

Published on: September 20, 2025 2:07 PM

DUBAI – Cricket fans are rushing to buy tickets for the highly anticipated Asia Cup 2025 Super Four match between Pakistan and India. The iconic clash is set for Sunday and is expected to draw a massive global audience.

Due to the intense rivalry between the two teams, ticket demand has skyrocketed. The lowest-priced ticket is now 350 dirhams, which is approximately 27,000 Pakistani rupees. Premium tickets are selling even faster, with many already sold out online.

The previous encounter between the two sides saw controversy, when match referee Andy Pycroft allegedly stopped the Pakistani captain from shaking hands with India’s captain. This led to a formal protest from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), demanding Pycroft’s removal from future matches.

In response, Pycroft issued an apology to the Pakistani skipper, calming tensions ahead of this weekend’s clash. Despite the incident, excitement continues to build for what is often called the “biggest rivalry in world cricket.”

Both teams are in top form, and fans are expecting a thrilling match. With tickets becoming harder to find and prices rising, the stage is set for another unforgettable chapter in the Pakistan-India cricket rivalry.
