Maryam Nawaz emphasizes public safety, praises Punjab development initiatives

LAHORE — Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has reaffirmed that protecting the lives and property of citizens is the state’s top priority, warning that any attempts to create chaos will not be tolerated.

During meetings with assembly members and ticket holders from Wazirabad and Mianwali, the CM discussed public concerns, ongoing development projects, and future initiatives. Participants praised her special projects, including the Green Bus service and the “Suthra Punjab” initiative, acknowledging their positive impact on the communities.

Lawmakers also lauded the introduction of the E-Biz Portal, which facilitates business activities in Punjab, and applauded her actions against illegal land occupations. The CM highlighted welfare initiatives such as the Kisan Card and free doorstep medicine delivery as evidence of the government’s commitment to progress and prosperity. She noted that for the first time in Punjab’s history, three million people received pay orders worth Rs10,000 at their doorstep, while 1.5 million citizens benefit from Rs3,000 monthly through ration cards.

Maryam Nawaz reiterated her dedication to serving the people, supporting farmers, and fulfilling all governmental responsibilities. She also hinted at several major upcoming development projects aimed at further advancing the province.

Parliamentarians praised her “action-first” governance style, noting that she delivers results efficiently and maintains a transparent, merit-based leadership that promotes equal development across Punjab.
