The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has announced a temporary reduction in electricity tariffs. The power rate will drop by Rs0.88 per unit for one month. This relief will appear in December electricity bills.
The concession applies to all consumers of power distribution companies, including K-Electric. However, lifeline consumers and electric vehicle charging stations are excluded from the reduction. NEPRA emphasized that the move targets ordinary consumers.
