On the other hand, tomatoes dropped 16.18 percent and sugar fell 4.91 percent. Onion prices declined 4.08 percent, and potatoes became 1.71 percent cheaper, helping ease household expenses.

Other items that saw price reductions included bananas, chickpeas, lentils (masoor dal), and LPG. Analysts said seasonal supply and market trends contributed to the weekly decrease in inflation.

PBS noted that while some essential commodities remain expensive, the overall minor decline in weekly inflation offers slight relief to consumers. Experts expect price fluctuations to continue in the coming weeks.
