TikTok creator Tucker Genal dies by suicide aged 31, family confirms

TikTok creator Tucker Genal has died at the age of 31. Authorities in California and the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s website confirmed that Genal passed away by suicide at his residence on Thursday. His family also confirmed the news on social media earlier this week.

Genal gained widespread popularity on TikTok, amassing over 2.5 million followers through challenge-based videos, often featuring his brothers. His collaborative content and frequent appearances with family members made him a beloved figure on the platform.

Tucker Genal, a popular and deeply loved TikTok creator, has died at the age of 31, his family confirmed Monday. His death was ruled a suicide, sending shockwaves through fans and the creator community who followed his journey online.

🚨TikTok star Tucker Genal has died at 31.

His brother Carson shared a heartbreaking tribute, calling Tucker his best friend and hero.

The LA Medical Examiner confirmed his death was a suicide by hanging on Dec. 11.

His brothers, Carson and Connor Genal, shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, mourning the loss. Carson described Tucker as his “best friend and an even better big brother,” adding that he will continue to “look up to you until we meet again.” The family also requested privacy as they navigate life without him.

Friends and fans have paid tribute to Genal across social media. His friend Sean Schutt wrote on Instagram, “Tucker… idk where to start… you were my best friend in the whole world,” remembering how Genal had supported him during a difficult period in life.

Genal was a 2018 graduate of Furman University, where he earned a degree in business administration and played as a wide receiver on the university’s football team. His death has prompted an outpouring of grief online, highlighting the impact he had on both his followers and close friends.
