
Heavy rain and snowfall have increased cold conditions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Balochistan, and Azad Kashmir. The meteorological department warned that the precipitation is likely to continue over the coming days.
In KP, rain in Peshawar, Hangu, and Charsadda caused temperatures to drop further. Snowfall in Chitral, Kalam, Mahodand, and Malam Jabba blanketed the region in white. Neelum Valley and other high-altitude areas also experienced intermittent snow.

Balochistan received rainfall after a long dry spell. Cities including Chaman, Qila Abdullah, and Toba Achakzai saw strong winds with heavy rain. Several areas reported fallen trees, damaged walls, and electricity pole collapses.
Authorities advised tourists to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary travel. Residents are urged to stay indoors, keep warm, and follow weather updates as the cold wave intensifies.
