CCPO reviews performance of Iqbal Town, Saddar divisions

Published on: January 7, 2026 2:12 AM

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana chaired a performance review meeting of Iqbal Town and Saddar divisions at the Capital City Police Headquarters on Tuesday.

During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of the overall performance, professional matters and administrative affairs of both divisions.

Addressing the meeting, the CCPO Lahore said that establishing a corruption-free society is a key target set by chief minister Punjab, and Lahore Police are making tireless efforts day and night to achieve this goal. He said a zero-tolerance policy against corruption is being strictly enforced at all levels of the police force and corruption will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Bilal Siddique made it clear that strict and indiscriminate legal action would be taken against any police officer or official found involved in corruption. He stressed that police stations would be transformed into true centers of relief and justice for the oppressed.

The CCPO directed that police staff posted at police stations must deal with citizens politely and ensure prompt resolution of their problems. He warned that police personnel who fail to listen to or address the grievances of complainants have no place in the department.

DIG (Administration) Imran Kishwar, DIG (Investigation) Zeeshan Raza, DIG (Operations) Faisal Kamran, SSP (Investigation) Muhammad Naveed, SSP (Operations) Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem, SPs of Iqbal Town and Saddar divisions, ASPs, circle officers, SHOs and investigation in-charges attended the meeting.
