Published on: January 30, 2026 3:24 PM

Security forces killed 41 terrorists in two operations in Balochistan on Friday. The military said the militants were Indian proxies linked to Fitna al Khawarij and Fitna al Hindustan. Large quantities of weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered during the actions.

First, an intelligence based operation was carried out on the outskirts of Harnai district. Pakistani troops targeted a reported hideout of Fitna al Khawarij militants. After a heavy exchange of fire, security forces killed 30 Indian sponsored terrorists. Recovered explosives and ammunition were destroyed on the spot.

Meanwhile, another operation was conducted in Panjgur district. Security forces busted a terrorist hideout and neutralized 11 Indian sponsored militants of Fitna al Hindustan. In addition, weapons, ammunition, and looted bank money were recovered. Officials said the terrorists were involved in multiple past attacks.

Subsequently, President Asif Ali Zardari praised the security forces for their effective actions. He said the operations reflected the state’s firm resolve against proxy terrorism. The president also commended the vigilance of law enforcement agencies.
