During the meeting, the Iranian envoy briefed Dar on progress achieved through various bilateral institutional mechanisms aimed at enhancing cooperation across multiple sectors. Dar emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening engagement with Iran in priority areas of mutual interest, underscoring the importance of sustained dialogue and diplomacy for promoting regional peace, security, and development.

The meeting follows recent conversations between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Iranian President Dr Masoud Pezeshkian, in which both leaders discussed the evolving regional situation and emphasized continued diplomatic engagement.
