Published on: February 25, 2026 8:00 PM

Security forces killed 34 militants in intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations. The high-tempo campaign targeted militant hideouts and infiltration attempts near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. The operations affect security conditions in volatile districts and reinforce ongoing national counterterrorism efforts.

According to the military’s media wing, forces conducted multiple operations over several days in sensitive districts. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, troops killed 26 militants during four separate engagements. Security personnel intercepted infiltrators near Hassan Khel in North Waziristan district. During the exchange of fire, one Afghan national was killed.

Another 12 militants were eliminated in Mir Ali, North Waziristan.
