
Security forces killed 34 militants in intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations. The high-tempo campaign targeted militant hideouts and infiltration attempts near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. The operations affect security conditions in volatile districts and reinforce ongoing national counterterrorism efforts.
According to the military’s media wing, forces conducted multiple operations over several days in sensitive districts. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, troops killed 26 militants during four separate engagements. Security personnel intercepted infiltrators near Hassan Khel in North Waziristan district. During the exchange of fire, one Afghan national was killed.

Meanwhile, forces carried out an intelligence-based raid in Lakki Marwat district. Three militants died after an intense gun battle. In addition, troops engaged militants in two separate encounters in Narmi Khel, Bannu district. Security forces killed 10 militants in those operations. Another 12 militants were eliminated in Mir Ali, North Waziristan.
In Balochistan, security forces conducted an intelligence-led operation in Sambaza, Zhob district. Eight militants were killed after a heavy exchange of fire. Officials recovered weapons and ammunition from the slain suspects. Authorities said the militants were involved in multiple terrorist activities.

Furthermore, clearance operations continue to locate any remaining militants in affected areas. The military reaffirmed its commitment to eliminate militancy nationwide. It said operations will proceed under the broader national security framework. Officials stressed that sustained efforts remain essential for long-term regional stability.
