His franchise, Rawalpindi Pindiers, confirmed the development, stating that the fast bowler sustained a side injury during a match against Karachi Kings. Following medical evaluation, it was decided that Naseem would be sidelined until further notice.

Team management said that the injury requires careful monitoring, and the medical staff is closely overseeing his recovery process. While no specific timeline has been provided for his return, officials expressed hope that the pacer could regain fitness in time for the latter stages of the tournament, subject to rehabilitation and medical clearance.

Naseem Shah’s absence is expected to impact the team’s bowling attack, as he has been a key performer with his pace and ability to deliver in crucial moments. His injury comes at a critical phase of the tournament, where teams are competing intensely for playoff positions.

The franchise extended its full support to the young fast bowler, emphasizing its commitment to ensuring his proper recovery. “We stand firmly behind Naseem and will continue to support him throughout his rehabilitation,” the team said in a statement.

Fans and cricket analysts alike have expressed concern over the injury, given Naseem’s importance not only to his franchise but also to Pakistan’s national team setup. His fitness will be closely watched ahead of upcoming international commitments.
