Multan Sultans defeat Rawalpindi

PSL 11 saw Multan Sultans defeat Rawalpindi by 6 wickets in a strong performance. The win gave Multan two important points in the standings. The match was played in Karachi under competitive conditions.

Moreover, Rawalpindi batted first after winning the toss. They scored 166 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Rawalpindi team showed some resistance but could not dominate the innings.

In addition, Daryl Mitchell played a solid knock for Rawalpindi. He scored an unbeaten 58 runs. Meanwhile, Sam Billings made 29 runs and captain Mohammad Rizwan added 26 runs to the total.

However, Multan Sultans chased the target confidently. Steve Smith led the charge with a strong half-century of 56 runs. Ashton Turner also supported the chase with an unbeaten 37 runs. Multan reached the target in 18.4 overs.

Finally, Multan Sultans climbed to second place in the points table after this victory. Rawalpindi suffered its eighth consecutive defeat in the tournament. PSL 11: Multan Sultans beat Rawalpindi in a key match that reshaped the standings.
