The throwback collection also highlighted contributions from music artists including singer Shreya Ghoshal and playback singer Arijit Singh, whose songs became central to the film’s emotional impact and long-lasting popularity.

In his caption, Suri reflected on the emotional depth of the project, writing that some films are not just created but “lived” through every moment on set. He described the production as an experience filled with emotion, silence, and music that continues to resonate even years later. He also expressed gratitude for the enduring love the film continues to receive from audiences.

The post quickly attracted attention from fans and industry colleagues. Shraddha Kapoor responded in the comments section, thanking the director for shaping her career and acknowledging the film’s role in her rise to prominence in the Indian film industry.

Released in April 2013, Aashiqui 2 became a major commercial and cultural success, particularly noted for the chemistry between its lead actors and its emotionally charged soundtrack, which included iconic songs such as “Tum Hi Ho” and “Sunn Raha Hai”.
