President Sheikh Mohamed said the industrial sector remains a key pillar of the UAE’s long-term economic strategy, playing an important role in diversification, innovation and sustainable growth.

He noted that expanding industrial capacity is central to the country’s efforts to reduce dependence on traditional sectors, attract foreign investment and create opportunities for Emirati professionals.

Officials also briefed the leadership on major projects and initiatives presented by participating institutions and companies at the exhibition.

The “Make it in the Emirates” platform has become a major annual event for promoting local manufacturing and strengthening the UAE’s industrial ecosystem. It brings together government entities, private sector players and investors to explore partnerships and future opportunities.

The leadership said strong participation in this year’s exhibition reflects the growing competitiveness and maturity of the UAE’s industrial landscape.
