A representative of minority community and member of the National Peace Message Committee Pakistan, Rajesh Kumar Hardasani, has strongly condemned the recent alleged threatening statements made by the Indian Army Chief against Pakistan, terming them “unacceptable and regrettable.”
In a statement on Sunday, he said that such remarks were contrary to the spirit of peaceful coexistence and urged the Indian leadership to recall Pakistan’s demonstrated defence capability and national unity during “Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, Ma’rka-e-Haq,” when the country exhibited strong resolve and cohesion.
Rajesh Kumar Hardasani stated that Pakistan was a peaceful, sovereign and nuclear-armed state whose armed forces and people remained fully united for the defence of the homeland. He said Pakistan possesses the capability to respond decisively to any aggression or threat.
He further said that while Pakistan desired peace, stability and improved regional relations, any challenge to its sovereignty, territorial integrity or national dignity would be met with a united response from the entire nation. Pakistan is a reality and a strong state that will continue to exist with dignity and no power can undermine its integrity, he added.
