The Department of Computer Science at the University of Gujrat successfully organized its Final Year Project Exhibition on May 20, 2026, highlighting a diverse range of innovative and industry-focused projects developed by graduating students. The event attracted academics, industry representatives, and university officials who gathered to witness the students’ achievements.

The exhibition was attended by the President of the Chamber of Commerce along with members of the university administration. Distinguished guests included Registrar Muhammad Naeem Butt, Director IT Services Zahid Raza, Director Media Dr. Muhammad Yousaf, and heads of various academic departments.

Students presented projects across multiple technology domains, including Artificial Intelligence, Web and Mobile Application Development, Internet of Things (IoT), and Data Science. Live demonstrations allowed visitors to experience the practical applications of the projects and assess their real-world relevance.

Guests and industry representatives praised the quality, creativity, and technical depth of the projects. They actively engaged with students, discussing ideas, offering professional insights, and providing valuable feedback to help refine and strengthen future developments.

A panel of external judges from the software industry evaluated the projects based on innovation, technical implementation, and presentation quality. Following a detailed assessment process, the top ten projects were shortlisted to advance to the next stage of competition.

The exhibition underscored the Department of Computer Science’s commitment to fostering innovation, research, and industry-academia collaboration. It also demonstrated the university’s efforts to equip students with the technical expertise and practical skills needed to succeed in the rapidly evolving technology sector.
