Anti-JAAC posters appear across Azad Kashmir highways promoting peace

Published on: July 5, 2026 3:06 PM

Posters opposing the banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) have appeared on major roads and highways across Mirpur in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, carrying messages that promote peace, stability, and public order. The campaign reflects support for maintaining calm in the region and rejects activities described on the posters as attempts to create unrest and instability.

The posters prominently display slogans such as “Banned Action Committee Rejected” and state that the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir do not support the agenda of groups accused of spreading chaos. They emphasize the importance of preserving law and order while encouraging unity against actions that could threaten peace in the region.

Furthermore, the messages claim that residents remain committed to protecting the stability of Azad Kashmir from both internal and external elements seeking to disturb public harmony. The posters also state that people will continue opposing any effort aimed at creating disorder and weakening the peaceful environment that citizens want to preserve.

The campaign presents the posters as a public expression supporting peace and rejecting the narrative associated with the banned Joint Awami Action Committee. According to the displayed messages, the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir have already distanced themselves from the group’s position and instead stand firmly with stability and the rule of law.
