Ishan Kishan tops latest ICC T20 batting rankings

Ishan Kishan has climbed to the top of the latest International Cricket Council men’s T20I batting rankings, becoming the world’s number one batter after a series of impressive performances. The updated rankings also brought significant movement for several players, including Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan, who rose to third place. The changes reflect recent international performances across all major formats.

Farhan’s rise strengthens Pakistan’s presence among the world’s leading T20 batters, while England’s Jacob Bethell climbed seven places to eighth after consistent performances. Meanwhile, former number one Suryakumar Yadav dropped five positions to thirteenth in the latest update. The revised rankings underline the intense competition among the world’s top T20 players.

In the T20I bowling rankings, Rashid Khan retained the number one position following another strong period of performances. Pakistan leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed climbed to second place, highlighting his growing impact in international cricket. Furthermore, Pakistan’s Mohammad Nawaz secured twelfth position, while Salman Mirza ranked twentieth among T20 bowlers.

The latest Test rankings also remained largely stable, with Jasprit Bumrah continuing as the world’s top-ranked Test bowler. Pakistan spinner Nouman Ali held seventh place after maintaining consistent performances in the longest format. Their rankings reflect continued excellence in Test cricket against strong international competition.

Among Test batters, Travis Head retained the number one position in the latest standings. Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan ranked eighteenth, while former captain Babar Azam followed closely in nineteenth place. The updated rankings highlight steady performances across formats as players continue competing for higher positions ahead of upcoming international series.
