Queen Camilla joins King Charles for private family meeting

Published on: July 15, 2026 1:07 PM

Queen Camilla reportedly put aside her personal commitments to stand beside King Charles during a private family meeting that has drawn widespread attention within royal circles.

According to recent media reports, the King arranged a confidential reunion with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, following years of reported estrangement. The meeting is said to have taken place under strict secrecy, with only a limited number of people aware of the plans.

Sources claimed the gathering was carefully organised by King Charles to ensure privacy and avoid public attention. Reports further suggest that even senior members of the royal family were not informed in advance about the arrangements.

Queen Camilla is said to have received an urgent request from the King and immediately travelled to join him, setting aside her own schedule. According to the reports, the King wanted his wife by his side for emotional support during what was described as a significant family reunion.

A source quoted in international media claimed that Camilla informed no one about her plans and quietly made her way to the meeting. Those involved were reportedly instructed to keep the gathering confidential, with every effort made to prevent details from becoming public.

The reported reunion also allowed King Charles to spend time with his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, whom he had allegedly not seen for several years. Sources close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have suggested the couple were pleased that the long-awaited meeting finally took place.

Neither Buckingham Palace nor representatives for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have publicly confirmed the details of the reported gathering. As a result, many aspects of the meeting remain based on media reports and unnamed sources.

While speculation continues about what the private discussions may have included, the reported reunion has renewed public interest in relations between King Charles, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, with many royal observers watching closely for any future developments.
