State Minister Talal Chaudhry has accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his family of pursuing actions that could harm Pakistan, claiming that recent remarks by Imran Khan’s sister Nooreen Niazi reflected an agenda against the country.

Speaking on the matter, Talal Chaudhry said that Nooreen Niazi’s statement regarding the “Marka-e-Haq” and the Pakistan Army was evidence of what he described as “proxies against Pakistan.” He alleged that the target of such statements was not limited to state institutions but extended to Pakistan itself.
Earlier, Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry also criticized Nooreen Niazi’s remarks, saying that PTI founder Imran Khan and members of his family repeatedly make statements against Pakistan’s interests. He described the comments related to national events and the armed forces as regrettable and unacceptable.
Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said the statement was against Pakistan’s sovereignty, dignity, and national unity, adding that the nation rejects remarks that could undermine the country’s institutions.
Talal Chaudhry further claimed that the recent comments had confirmed his allegations regarding PTI’s intentions. He said political differences should not cross the limits of national interest and accused the PTI leadership of damaging Pakistan’s image.
Meanwhile, Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Awn Chaudhry also demanded an apology from Nooreen Niazi, calling her remarks irresponsible and against national interests. He said such statements were harmful during sensitive times.
The controversy has sparked a fresh political debate, with PTI supporters and government representatives exchanging criticism over the remarks. Opposition figures have previously rejected allegations of being against the country, maintaining that their criticism is directed toward government policies and institutions’ actions rather than Pakistan itself.
