UAE assures full support to ease visa process for Pakistani citizens

Published on: July 12, 2025 1:23 PM

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has assured full cooperation to make visa issuance easier for Pakistani citizens. This assurance came during a meeting between UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. The meeting took place in Abu Dhabi, focusing on improving visa services.

Both leaders discussed the issues Pakistani citizens face while applying for UAE visas. They agreed to take necessary steps to simplify the work visa process. Sheikh Saif promised complete support from the UAE government to remove hurdles and speed up visa approvals.

Mohsin Naqvi highlighted the strong brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE. He said Pakistani workers play a vital role in strengthening the UAE’s economy. Naqvi expressed hope that easier visa policies would help more Pakistanis travel and work in the UAE smoothly.

The talks also covered expanding cooperation in security, drug control, smuggling prevention, and stopping illegal immigration. Both sides emphasized the importance of exchanging technology, especially artificial intelligence, to face security challenges. They reaffirmed their commitment to deepen ties and work together in multiple sectors.

Additionally, Mohsin Naqvi visited Abu Dhabi’s modern policing and operations center. UAE officials briefed him on the state-of-the-art monitoring system designed to prevent crime and ensure public safety. Naqvi praised the UAE’s policing model and showed keen interest in its advanced technology.
