Pakistan and China celebrate unbreakable military bond

Pakistan and China have once again reaffirmed their deep and enduring friendship. On Thursday, a ceremony was held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi to mark the 98th anniversary of China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA). Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, praised the PLA for its critical role in China’s defense and growth. He emphasized that Pakistan-China friendship has stood firm through every test of time. The event highlighted the strong ties between the two militaries.

Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong attended the ceremony as the chief guest. Alongside him were Defense Attaché Major General Wang Zhong and other Chinese officials. Senior officers from Pakistan’s Army, Navy, and Air Force also joined the gathering. This high-level participation reflected the importance both nations place on their defense partnership. The event served as a symbol of mutual respect and lasting cooperation.

Field Marshal Asim Munir welcomed the guests warmly and expressed deep appreciation for China’s friendship. He stated that, despite global and regional changes, the Pakistan-China bond remains unbreakable. He described the relationship between the two armies as that of brothers. Moreover, he called the military partnership a protector of shared strategic interests. His remarks reinforced the strength of military cooperation.

In his address, Ambassador Jiang Zaidong praised Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism. He said the Pakistan Army had played a heroic and unmatched role. He also reaffirmed China’s unwavering support for Pakistan. This included commitment to the two countries’ strategic partnership. The ambassador’s comments showed China’s strong trust in Pakistan.

Overall, the event showcased unity, strength, and shared purpose. It reminded both nations of their shared goals and deep-rooted friendship. As global challenges grow, this alliance remains a key pillar of regional peace. Both leaders vowed to strengthen ties further. The ceremony ended with renewed hope and commitment to lasting cooperation.
