Both sides discussed the urgent need to expand trade and investment. They focused on sectors like agriculture, education, tourism, and logistics. They also talked about working together in regional and international forums. Improving road and rail links was also part of the discussion. The goal is to strengthen economic and strategic ties between Central and South Asia.

According to the Foreign Office, this visit helps prepare for the Kazakh president’s trip. Nurtleu is also expected to meet President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. These meetings will review bilateral cooperation in detail. They will also finalize key agreements for the upcoming presidential visit. Both countries are committed to long-term engagement.

This visit reflects growing interest in regional collaboration. Kazakhstan sees Pakistan as a gateway to South Asia. Pakistan views Kazakhstan as a key partner in Central Asia. With both sides pushing for better ties, the upcoming presidential visit is expected to mark a major milestone in regional diplomacy.
