CM Maryam joins flood-affected women in embroidery

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif visited the Sanat Zaar (Industry Centre) at a flood relief camp and took part in local crafts. During the visit, she picked up a needle and did embroidery on framed cloth, joining the women learning vocational skills at the center.

The moment was met with appreciation and applause from the camp’s residents and instructors. Maryam Nawaz praised the resilience of the flood-affected women and encouraged them to continue learning income-generating skills.

She said such skill-building centers are vital for long-term recovery and economic empowerment. Her participation in embroidery sent a powerful message of solidarity, showing that the government stands with the people not just through aid, but through shared effort.
