Security forces in Pakistan arrested four suspected terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khuzdar, Balochistan, on Wednesday. The military’s media wing, ISPR, said the militants were part of the group Fitna al Hindustan, which Pakistan accuses of being backed by India. The terrorists tried to escape by disguising themselves in women’s clothing, but security forces intercepted them.
During the operation, weapons and ammunition were recovered from the suspects. ISPR said the arrested men were involved in several terror activities across the region. A separate sanitisation operation was also launched to locate any remaining threats. Officials confirmed the army’s continued efforts to eradicate foreign-sponsored militancy from Pakistan.

Meanwhile, another IBO took place in Balochistan’s Kech district, where security forces discovered and destroyed a terrorist hideout. In this operation, three militants, also linked to Fitna al Hindustan, were killed. Troops recovered weapons, explosives, and other materials from the scene. The ISPR stated the terrorists had been involved in multiple attacks in the region.
These operations come shortly after a similar offensive in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat district, where 17 terrorists were reportedly killed last week. Officials noted that all the militants were linked to Indian-backed networks targeting Pakistan’s internal security. The military described these actions as part of its broader strategy to dismantle foreign-sponsored terror groups.
Pakistan’s armed forces reiterated their firm resolve to combat terrorism in all its forms. They also emphasised the nation’s determination to hold both perpetrators and their facilitators accountable. The ISPR underlined that these operations aim to protect citizens and uphold national sovereignty against external threats.
