The Israeli navy intercepted a Gaza aid flotilla on Wednesday, preventing the ships from delivering humanitarian supplies. Swedish activist Greta Thunberg was onboard.

Around 45 vessels left Spain last month, carrying activists, politicians, and aid to Gaza. Israel warned the flotilla not to enter its blockade zone.
Spain and Italy sent naval escorts and urged the ships to halt before the 150-nautical-mile exclusion area. Greece also called for restraint and safety.
Earlier flotillas in June and July faced similar interceptions. Activists, including Mandla Mandela and European lawmakers, said they would continue despite intimidation tactics.

The Gaza aid flotilla remains closely monitored as tensions grow. Authorities emphasized protecting all unarmed participants while enforcing the Israeli blockade.
