Aliza criticises Feroze Khan’s parenting approach

Published on: October 13, 2025 2:47 AM

Influencer Syeda Aliza Sultan – ex-wife of actor Feroze Khan – has once again spoken out about the challenges of co-parenting and the unequal expectations placed on mothers.

Feroze and Aliza’s marriage, which initially remained private, ended in a highly publicized divorce marked by custody battles and mutual allegations. The two share two children and while they continue to co-parent, relations between them remain strained.

In a recent video shared on social media, Aliza expressed frustration over how society expects mothers to shoulder all parenting responsibilities, from school runs to financial duties.

“Why does society think that everything related to children is a mother’s job? From pickups and drop-offs to earning for them – it all falls on women’s shoulders. This is unfair,” she said while driving and recording her message.

Aliza added that while women often take on these responsibilities willingly, society also plays a major role in reinforcing this imbalance.

“Maybe it’s our fault for trying to do everything, but society is equally responsible for putting this burden on women,” she said.

Although Aliza did not directly mention her ex-husband, her remarks were seen by many as a critique of Feroze Khan’s parenting style, as the actor is often spotted spending time with his children at restaurants and public places.

Aliza has frequently spoken about the emotional and financial struggles of single motherhood, sharing how her life changed drastically even before she turned 30. Her message continues to resonate with many women who face similar challenges in balancing parenting and personal responsibilities after separation.
