Interior Ministry hand over bulletproof vehicles to KP Police

Published on: October 19, 2025 2:56 AM

In a significant step to strengthen the security apparatus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the Ministry of Interior handed over a fleet of bulletproof vehicles to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police during an official ceremony held in Islamabad.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi formally presented the keys of the vehicles to Inspector General (IG) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Zulfiqar Hameed. Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry was also present at the ceremony.

Following the handover, Interior Minister Naqvi and IG Zulfiqar Hameed inspected the newly delivered vehicles. The minister lauded the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police for their frontline role in combating terrorism and ensuring national security.

“The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police have always stood as the first line of defense in the fight against terrorism,” said Mohsin Naqvi. “We take great pride in the courage and sacrifices of KP Police officers and personnel.”
