FIR Filed Against Bigg Boss 19 Contestant Tanya Mittal

Published on: October 20, 2025 1:46 PM

Police action sought against Bigg Boss contestant Tanya Mittal for false claims

MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 19 contestant Tanya Mittal has landed in legal trouble as an FIR was filed against her while she remains inside the reality show’s house.

The complaint was lodged by influencer Faizan Ansari, who submitted the report to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) office in Gwalior. Faizan accused Tanya of misleading viewers by making false and exaggerated statements about her lifestyle and background on national television.

According to the complaint, Tanya claimed she owns a home more luxurious than a five-star hotel, has over 150 bodyguards, and travels to different cities just to eat food. Faizan argued that these claims are factually untrue and create a misleading image for viewers. He also alleged that Tanya’s remarks damage the reputation of Gwalior, her hometown, which is known for its cultural and political heritage.

He further claimed to personally know Tanya and her former partner, Balraj Singh, a local UP politician who was arrested on unrelated charges. Faizan accused Tanya of betraying Balraj and criticized her for “disrespecting Gwalior’s image” with her public statements.

The controversy has stirred online debate among fans questioning the authenticity of Tanya’s claims and her background. As of now, Tanya Mittal remains unaware of the FIR as she continues to participate in Bigg Boss 19. The show’s producers and the broadcasting channel have not yet issued an official response to the allegations.
