
KASUR – Police arrested seven suspected outlaws during search operations in various areas of Kasur on Thursday night, recovering drugs, spurious liquor, and illegal weapons, Dunya News reported.
According to police, the operations were launched under the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Esa Khan to curb rising criminal activities in the city. During the raids, officers seized one kilogram of heroin, two kilograms of charas, 240 litres of liquor, and two pistols from the suspects.

The arrested individuals were identified as Irfan, Basharat, Muhammad Ahmad, Afzal, Habibullah, Javaid, and Shahzad. Police said that two of them were notorious outlaws wanted in several serious criminal cases.
During the operation, police checked 14 houses and interrogated 27 people. Authorities claimed that such consistent search operations and targeted raids have helped reduce the crime rate in Kasur.
