Published on: October 27, 2025 4:12 PM

KARACHI: Meta AI has been launched in Urdu, allowing Pakistani users to interact in both Urdu and English. The move aims to accelerate digital transformation across the country.

The launch coincided with the “Future in Focus: AI and Innovation” event, organized with Pakistan’s Ministry of IT & Telecom. Meta also announced pilot programs for AI education and government digital transformation initiatives.

As part of the launch, Meta introduced a local edition of its guide, Transforming Public Sector Innovation in Asia Pacific with Llama, developed with Deloitte. The guide explains how the open-source AI model, Llama, can improve government services, efficiency, and data autonomy.
