Fawad and Mahira unite to promote the music album of their upcoming film ‘Neelofar’

Published on: October 28, 2025 2:03 AM

Pakistani music is even appreciated by those who have nothing but contempt and prejudice for the country.

And what Vicky Haider has sung for upcoming film ‘Neelofar’ will now set new benchmarks for music producers all over the world to appreciate and follow.

This pure romantic poetic film starring Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan will release theatrically on November 28 (Friday). The leading stars of the film got together with the rest of the film fraternity to talk about their project and the music album for it, in an evening hosted by actor Yasir Hussain. It was a delight to attend and listen to them talk. The jokes were sounds, the conversation was engaging, the guest list was relevant, the ambience was compelling and the venue which was Sir Ganga Ram Residence added to the splendour of the atmosphere.

The music album was launched and the entire songs were played out with video for the public.

Other than the film fraternity, there were drama actors too, fashion designers, journalists, influencers and singers including Seemi Raheel, Zeb Bangash, Havi, Mooroo and Ken Doll, along with several other distinguished celebrated guests who graced the occasion. It was a night where film, music and art came together in perfect harmony.

The unveiled song a lyrical and emotional centerpiece of the film captures the poetic spirit that defines ‘Neelofar’ – a love story where sight is transcended by connection and silence speaks through melody. The film stars Fawad Khan as a writer and Mahira Khan as Neelofar, a visually impaired yet radiant soul. It has already been hailed as one of the most touching romantic narratives to emerge from Pakistani cinema in recent years.

“‘Neelofar’ is a story that lives in emotions and this song is its heartbeat. Tonight was about sharing that feeling with everyone who has believed in the film’s journey,” Fawad Khan said.

“I have been hearing the music for it for the last five years. This film is deeply personal to me. Seeing everyone respond so emotionally to the song tonight reminded me why we made ‘Neelofar.’ It’s about love in its purest, most soulful form,” Mahira Khan said. The film is produced by Fawad, Hassaan Khalid and Usaf Shariq and written and directed by Ammar Rasool.
