Pakistan denies Indian media claim of 20,000 troops to Gaza

Published on: October 28, 2025 8:40 PM

Pakistani authorities have strongly rejected claims that 20,000 of its troops are being sent to Gaza. The report, published by an Indian media outlet, included alleged intelligence leaks. However, officials described these claims as fabricated and misleading. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that no military mission has been authorized or announced for Gaza.

Furthermore, sources emphasized that Pakistan has consistently supported Palestinian self-determination. The country has never recognized Israel and has not discussed any troop deployment. Officials said the Indian report misrepresented facts and spread false narratives. Therefore, Pakistan urges media and audiences to verify information before accepting such claims.

Additionally, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting highlighted that Pakistan’s foreign policy is principled and clear. It promotes peaceful solutions and diplomatic support for Palestine. The ministry confirmed that no discussions with Israel or other nations about military deployment have occurred. Consequently, reports suggesting otherwise are completely baseless.

Moreover, ISPR officials reiterated that Pakistan remains committed to regional peace and stability. The country’s stance is focused on humanitarian support rather than military engagement. Officials stated that Pakistan will continue engaging with international partners to promote dialogue and de-escalation in conflict zones.

Finally, analysts say misinformation like this can create unnecessary tension between nations. Pakistan continues to reject false reports and emphasizes transparency in its defense policies. Citizens and international observers are encouraged to rely on verified sources for accurate information about the country’s foreign and military affairs.
